The main goal of the three day photoshoot was to capture the unforgettable ocean views from several of the Hotel’s Rooms and Suites.  As you can see, the views from the rooms are stunning, the upper-floor corner room has incredible views from two private balconies of the vast Pacific Ocean! It truly has that wow factor!

We had a great shoot at the Four Seasons and the hospitality of all the staff was just amazing.  We look forward to going back to shoot soon! Mahalo Nui Loa to everyone at the FS Oahu!

Luxury Hotel Photography | Halekulani Renovations | Hotel Room Photography | Waikiki | Hawaii /  by Ethan Tweedie

Over five days in December we photographed the newly renovated hotel rooms at Hawaii’s finest iconic Hotel, Halekulani.   I am so proud to be able to share some of our work from the photoshoot, each room was carefully scheduled and planed to take advantage of the sunlight and views of the Pacific Ocean/Waikiki/Diamond Head etc.

Here is Halekulani’s description of the design elements:

“Halekulani’s guest accommodations have been thoughtfully revitalized and designed, enhancing the property’s signature “seven shades of white” aesthetic philosophy. Framing dramatic and expansive views of the majestic Pacific Ocean and the verdant, oasis-like grounds of the resort, the overarching theme of nature and blending the sea with the sky will offer a haven of elegance and serenity. New elements of warmth and texture will serve to enrich the design, infusing a sense of harmony and balance throughout. Wooden panels and cabinetry will be incorporated, as well as textured wall coverings and meticulously crafted furnishings to fuse the subtle influences of European, Hawaiian, and Asian cultures.”

Here are some highlights of our recent shoot in Up-Country Waimea for Kendall DiDonato of this gorgeous 65-1132 Hoku’ula Road home. Per the listing details Kendall provided:

Before and After Friday!!!  /  by Ethan Tweedie

Before and After Friday!!!  I just love the clean lines and monochromatic tones of this Master Ensuite!   As you can see there is a sizable amount of green/yellow color cast in the raw un-retouched image.  In order to correct this I came up with a new photoshop technique.  First, I desaturated all the color channels in the image and then painted back color into the counter plants and added back some of the warmth in the overall image. What do you think?

Pauoa Beach Property /  by Ethan Tweedie

With so many great outdoor activities on the Big Island it has been great to get out and get in the water at our amazing beaches as more and more the Big Island is slowly re-opening after the COVID-19 pandemic. 

One of the last properties I photographed before the quarantine was this amazing property, Hale Makamae O Kai.  It would be the perfect place to live being so close to so many great Kohala Coast amenities!  This ocean front home at Pauoa Beach, Mauna Lani’s Premier Oceanfront Community, sits halfway between the newly remodeled Auberge Mauna Lani and the Fairmont Orchid Luxury Hotel.  With access to the amenities of these two resorts Pauoa Beach Club also has its own ocean front pool and spa! I hope this message finds all of you healthy and in good spirits after the unprecedented shut down of our Country and State.

As the State/Country begins to open up its economy after the Covid-19 pandemic this message is to let you know that I look forward to taking on new projects and completing the projects that were put on hold.
